Named one of "America's Top 50 Women Litigators" by The National Law Journal, Elizabeth Ainslie has tried more than 75 cases to verdict and conducted innumerable evidentiary hearings, oral arguments and arbitrations.

She is trained as an arbitrator and has presided over multiple arbitrations. She has acted as primary trial lawyer in two international commercial arbitrations, one in London and one in Dublin, both under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce. She has acted as primary trial lawyer in multiple domestic arbitrations, both for plaintiffs and defendants.

From 1979 to 1984, Ms. Ainslie served as a federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, serving as the chief of the Fraud Section during 1983 to 1984. After leaving the U.S. Attorney's office, Ms. Ainslie worked for 15 years at a law firm she founded. From 1999 to 2017 she held the position of Counsel at Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis. She is on the roster of neutral arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association.

Ms. Ainslie has acted as a judge pro tempore and as settlement master for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas for over 20 years.
